Solid grade PVC sheet has many uses in industry due to its high impact strength, its flame retardency and its ability to cope with solvents, acids, alkalis and salt solutions. It is perfect for areas which need to be kept clinically clean such as hospitals and food preperation areas and areas where chemicals are used regularly. White is the most popular choice for PVC cladding but it is available in a range of colours and thicknesses. Transparent sheet is a good alternative to Polycarbonate or PETG with all of the above advantages plus a 90% light transmission, although PVC's optical clarity is not quite as good. Because of the vast amount of uses for PVC we do not list sheet sizes or finishes on our site. |
