Commonly known as Foamex, Foamalux, Forex and many more brand names besides, Foam PVC is essentially an extruded sheet which is pushed through rollers to control thickness and surface finishing. Although the name 'Foam PVC' suggests a soft cored sheet it is in actual fact a solid sheet with a very fine cell structure and 2 solid faces (Either Matt/Matt or Gloss/Matt)

Foam PVC is i deal for signs and display work, cladding of wetrooms, bathrooms and shower enclosures and much more. It is a lower cost alternative to acrylic sheet, although not quite as hard wearing, and is suited for use in public buildings due to it having a class 1 fire rating. It can also be bent, formed and worked on with ease.
